Connie S. Johnson

Connie S. Johnson, 68, of Sherman, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Arcadia Care in Auburn. She was born March 2, 1954, in Hillsboro, the daughter of Willis and Edna (Durbin) Wilhelm. She married Steven T. Johnson on January 23, 1987 and he preceded her in death on December 22, 2015.

She is also preceded in death by her father, Willis Wilhelm.

Survivors include her mother, Edna of Springfield; son, Darrell (Jennifer) Wheat of Goodyear, AZ; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren, and brother, Roger Wilhelm of Missouri.
Connie was a resident of Sherman for 30 years. She retired as a data processor at Horace Mann and was a member of the Ladies Red Hat Society.

Per Connie’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to W.I.L.D. (Women In Love with Dogs Canine Rescue), 3309 Robbins Rd. #109, Springfield, IL 62704.
