Connie Henley (CH) Tubbs

Connie Henley (CH) Tubbs, 89, passed away on Monday; March 7, 2022 in Granbury. He was born December 11, 1932 in Coryell City, Texas to Joseph and Emma Pruitt Tubbs. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1950. He later became a licensed electrician.
Formerly of Topeka, Kansas, CH has been a resident of Granbury since 1993 after retiring from Dupont after thirty-five years of service. CH was also the owner and operator of Tubbs Electric in Topeka. He was a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He also served in the Kansas National Guard. CH was a member and Past Master of Orient Masonic Lodge #51 in Topeka. He was a member of the Arab Shrine in both Topeka and Granbury. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Granbury and had previously served on the Session. CH enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He simply enjoyed life and helping people.
CH was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jacqueline Tubbs; his son, David Tubbs; brothers, Clifford Tubbs, Pruett Tubbs, Eugene Tubbs and Francis Tubbs; sisters, Joe Marie Wallace, Musette Crawford, Irene Mazza and Juanelle Klingsporn.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Tubbs of Topeka, Kansas; grandson, William Del Tubbs of Athens, Texas; sister, Lydia Sims of Gatesville, Texas; sister-in-law, Carol Tubbs of Magnolia, Texas; a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1-2pm. Saturday; March 12, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church, 303 W. Bridge Street in Granbury with funeral services at 2pm. Saturday; March 12, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of Granbury with Pastor Drew Travis officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners, First Presbyterian Church of Granbury or Topeka Youth for Christ.
Additional Funeral Services in Topeka, Kansas with burial at McLouth Cemetery in McLouth, Kansas will be held at a later date.
