Clifford W. Lill was born March 5, 1948 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to Clifford H. and Angeline (Morelli) Lill. He passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at his home in Williams Bay.
Clifford grew up in Oak Lawn, IL. He graduated from Harold L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, IL in 1966. Clifford went on to attend Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois where he graduated with a degree in Marketing in 1970. While attending Northern Illinois University, Clifford met the love of his life Susan.
Clifford and Susan were married in 1971. Clifford and Susan were married for 53 years. Clifford worked for The Hoover Company for 35 years. He then went on to work for
Electrolux for 15 additional years before he retired from sales. Clifford was a natural salesman who always spoke to everyone and always had interesting stories to share.
Clifford was an avid hunter and gun collector. He owned his own gun shop, Cliff’s Guns, for 35 years. Clifford was also a lover of the water and boating. When Clifford retired, he
moved permanently to Williams Bay, Wisconsin so he could enjoy boating on Lake Geneva. Clifford was also an amazing father and grandfather. His children and his
grandchildren were his life. He took his role as “papa” very seriously and spoiled his grandchildren every chance he could get.
Clifford is survived by his wife Susan D. (Arnold) Lill; children Matthew (Carrie) Lill and Amy (the late Christopher) Wojdelko; grandchildren Sara Grace Lill, Alyssa Ann Lill, and Quinn Alexander Wojdelko; as well as his brother Bruce (Mariann) Lill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Eric Lill; and son-in-law Christopher Wojdelko.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 4:00 PM at Toynton’s Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth, WI.
