Christopher C. “Chris” Bozarth

Christopher C. “Chris” Bozarth, 52, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. He was born June 7, 1969, in Springfield, the son of Dennis S. “Denny” and Glenna K. (Fields) Bozarth.

Chris’ dad, Denny, preceded him in death in 2016.

Survivors include his son, Triston Bozarth of Virden; mother, Glenna, of Springfield; four sisters, Angela (Kory) Bozarth-Harms, Annette Lascody, Carey (Bryan) Richey, and Thresa Wright, all of Springfield; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Chris was a resident of Springfield most of his life. He worked with his dad as a painter for many years.

Cremation will take place and a private graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
