Cheryl D. Moothart, 89, longtime resident of Iowa City, died Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Coralville, with entombment at the Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Iowa City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service.
