Charles R. “Chuck” Gentry

Charles R. “Chuck” Gentry, 64, of New Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021 in Community Hospice Truman House at New Philadelphia.
Born in Orrville, he was a graduate of Orrville High School and following his graduation, Chuck enlisted into the United States Marine Corps where he faithfully served his country for four years before being honorably discharged.
Surviving is his wife, Jeannine K. (Wilson) Gentry of the residence; a daughter, Samantha (Jason) Reed; two grandsons, Gavin and Dylan Reed; a son, Eric Gentry; two daughters, Bobbi Gentry and Samantha Dix; a sister-in-law, Julie Deibel; a brother-in-law, Ron (Rhonda) Wilson; a niece, Jodie Deibel; a great-niece and great-nephew, Kaylie and Braeden Tidrick; two sisters, Peggy (Jeff) Hamrick and Carroll (Mark) Burch; and four brothers, Joe (Betty) Gentry, William (Shelley) Gentry, Richard (Debbie) Gentry and John Barnett.
In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Deibel, a brother, Tommy Gentry and two sisters, Judy McGraner and Elenore Lewis.
In keeping with his wishes, Chuck is to be cremated through the care of the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia and no public services are to be scheduled.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Community Hospice Truman House, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
