Charles Henry Elder

Charles Henry Elder, 78, of Saluda NC Passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

Charles was born on November 29, 1942, in Dobbs Ferry, New York, to the late Harry and Alice Elder. At his home in Saluda, he enjoyed working in the yard landscaping and caring for the plants and flowers. He also liked to read and watch sports on TV. Charles made his life work in the construction industry as a salesman.

He is survived by his wife Janice Nicks Elder, two sons Andrew Elder and his wife Heather, and Christopher Elder. He also has five grandchildren, McKenzie, Madelynne, Christopher Jr., Ashton, and Finley. Two great-grandchildren, Judah, and Rosahleigh.

A Private Memorial Service will be at a later date in New York.
