Cecilia Urban
Cecilia Urban, age 88 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Arista Healthcare in Naperville, IL. She was born on January 7, 1933 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Salley) Pollak.
Cecilia was united in marriage on June 28, 1952 to Mr. Edward J. Urban and they spent the next 57 happy years together until his passing on March 1, 2010. Mrs. Urban was employed for many years in the accounting department by B & R Gear in Bellwood, IL. Cecilia was an avid lover of all types of animals. She especially enjoyed working in her yard at her home on the Fox River. Cecilia was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Cecilia is survived by her children, Greg (Diane) Urban of Oswego, IL, Gary (DeMara) Urban of Plano, IL and Rachel Urban of Yorkville, IL; her grandchildren, Bryan, Crystal, Kirstyn and Kyle; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Pollak; her husband, Edward J. Urban; her siblings, Michael Pollak, George Pollak, Joseph (Helen) Pollak, Jack Pollak, Frances (Jack) Bischoff and Irene Pollak.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
