Carroll Bert Maxwell

Carroll Bert Maxwell, 76, of Greenville, SC, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.  He was born in Hendersonville, NC, to the late Bert Ezell Maxwell and Selina “Bill” Pace Maxwell.  He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Reba Ivey Maxwell.

He graduated from Hendersonville High School and attended college at the University of Maryland and Brevard College.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, worked at Berkley Mills, and was a member of Mud Creek Baptist church.

Carroll is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Maxwell of Greenville, SC; brothers, Boyce (Pat) Maxwell of Marietta, GA, and Donald (Malinda) Maxwell of Kennesaw, GA; niece, Rhonda Stanley of Marietta, GA’ and nephew, Scott (Melinda) of Acworth, GA.

A graveside service will be held at one o’clock p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC.
