Carol M. Klocke

Carol M. Klocke, 82, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Vonderleith Living Center in Mt. Pulaski. She was born December 24, 1938, in East Chicago, IN, the daughter of

Eugene and Margaret Yuhasz Connor. She married Robert F. Klocke December 19, 1965 and he preceded her in death February 3, 2002.

Carol is also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nancy Ippoliti and brother-in-law, Orlando Ippoliti.

Survivors include stepdaughter, Brynette Klocke-Smith of Ashdown, AR; step-granddaughter, Sarah (Marshall) Klocke-Carby of Omaha, NE; brother, Bill (Leann) Connor of Lincoln, IL; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She graduated from Feitshans High School in 1956. In 1993, she retired from AT&T after several years of service.

Graveside Service: 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Chaplain Miranda Clark officiating.
