Carl Wayne Kirkpatrick, 68, of Manhattan, Kan., died July 31, 2023, at the Good Shepherd Homecare and Hospice House in Manhattan. He was born Aug. 19, 1954, in Marysville, Kan., the son of Lynn and Charlene Kirkpatrick.

A reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at the Marysville American Legion, 310 Veteran’s Memorial Dr., Marysville, Kan. A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the First United Methodist Church, 612 Poyntz Ave., Manhattan, Kan., with the Rev. Donna Voteau officiating.
