Burdette Floyd Elsbury Sr., 83, Sumner, Iowa, passed away on Oct. 9, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at the Sumner American Legion Hall, 113 E. First St., Sumner, Iowa. You are invited to share memories of Burdette at 11 a.m., with lunch to follow.
