Bruce Paul Neil, 74, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. Visitation: 4-6 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2025, Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Bruce was born on March 6, 1951, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Paul and Eunice (Billerbeck) Neil.
Bruce loved music, animals, and his family wholeheartedly. Bruce enjoyed watching sprint car racing. Post retirement, he enjoyed his time working at several concerts and venues for Venue Works. In his younger years, he raced bicycles.
Bruce is survived by his son Thaddeus Neil; granddaughter, Ariel Simmons; siblings, Michelle (Paul) Clark, and Mike (Connie) Pierce; nephews, James Pierce, Andrew, and Paul Kettman; special friend, Michelle Bruner; and bonus boys, Dan, Bryan, and their families.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Grace Neil.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of Thaddeus Neil.
