- March 8, 2023
Bradford “Brad” D. Gardner, age 71, passed away on February 24, 2023.
Bradford D. Gardner was born December 3, 1951, to Mittie Lee and Willie Lee Gardner, in Cleveland, Ohio. He accepted Christ in his early 40’s. Bradford received his formal education in the public school system attending Rawlings Junior High and graduated in 1968 and went on to attend East Tech High School and graduated in 1971.
“Brad,” as he was affectionately called by family and friends, was a very kind hearted person. You would always find him trying to put a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. Brad was a faithful member of Alcoholic Anonymous with 32 years of recovery. He was always there for his family. He was a good father, brother and son. Throughout all of life’s tough battles he always told us he loved us no mater what, right or wrong. He will forever be a part of us and will always live in our hearts. God has called for his faithful servant and now Brad is home. We loved Brad but God Loved Him Best.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Mittie Lee Gardner, father, Willie Lee Gardner, brothers, Sigsbee, Willie Jr., and Freddie. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carole Wilder-Gardner: brothers, Clifford, Adolphus, and Unice; sisters, Arletha, and Jerline; daughter, Sonja; son, Bradford Jr.; sister-in-law Geneva; six grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and close family and friends.
