Bobby worked for L.W. Routh Construction Co. and contracted for Duke Power as a lineman and foreman. He was founder of Edneyville General Store, part owner of L.P.T. Bobby enjoyed singing, especially in church with his wife, and he had a wonderful voice. He also enjoyed dancing, always competing with Jim Kesterson- they had a lot of fun together. He had many wonderful, loving friends: Charles and Gail Laughter, Luther and Joann Cox, Guy and Teresa Beal, and preachers, J. D. Amason, Jerry Warren and Walt Christian.
