Beverly Schneider, 95, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Manchester. Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester with the Reverend Kurt Pasko officiating. Private family burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
Bev was born on January 6, 1929, in Sumner, Iowa, the daughter of Herbert and Matilda (Buenzow) Huebner. She graduated from Strawberry Point High School. On June 18, 1949, Beverly married Junior Schneider at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point, Iowa. She worked alongside her husband Junior. Together the couple farmed and owned and operated Schneider’s Camp at Lake Delhi until moving to town in 1985. Bev was an active member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manchester, where she was involved in quilting, altar guild and Bible Study. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, reading, doing aerobics and playing Bunko. Bev greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Bev is survived her children, Bruce (Margie) Schneider of Manchester, Susan (Dennis) Tinker of Grimes, Iowa; grandchildren Logan (Jade) Schneider and their daughter, Sutton, Blake (Jessica) Schneider and their daughter, Sophie, Jacob (Carlye) Tinker, and Ben Tinker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Junior Schneider in 2008; daughter, Nancy Schneider in 2023; and her brothers, Elroy (Marge) Huebner, Mervin (Dorothea) Huebner, and Bill (Rosalee) Huebner.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadow’s for the care that was given to Bev over the years.
