Beverly J. Corwin Franklin

Beverly “Bev” J. Corwin Franklin of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022, at UH Samaritan Hospital at the age of 83.
She was born September 17, 1938, in Marion, Ohio, to the late Virginia (Daly) and Donald Corwin. Bev graduated from Marion Harding High School with the Class of 1957. She married Clifford “Bud” D. Franklin in 1957 and became a full-time homemaker, lovingly caring for her family. Bev was a very tenacious and loving person and enjoyed caring for others.
Bev was an avid shopper and enjoyed playing Euchre with her friends. Cooking, baking, and sewing were her favorite hobbies. She was known for her delicious punch bowl cakes. Bev was a member of First Assembly of God, often cooking and baking for church functions. Her volunteering knew no limits and she was happy to assist either at church or in the community. She was very involved with her children’s activities and was a member of Tyger Moms and Mother’s Club.
She is survived by three sons, Clifford Franklin, Greg (Marnie) Franklin and Craig Franklin; six grandchildren, Jeffrey II (Liza) Franklin, Jessica (Stephen) Tucker, Chase (Jessica), Kirstan, Joshua and Sydney Franklin; six great-grandchildren, Makenzi, Carter, Trevor and Grady Tucker, Vincent and Lana Franklin; a sister, Sandy Spurlock; niece, Stacy (Kurt) Miller; and nephew, Billy (Angie) Spurlock.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Bud” Franklin; son, Jeffrey Franklin; brother, Michael Pierce; and brother-in-law, Bob Spurlock.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Memorial Park with her husband.
