Betty Kessler, 87, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at her home. Private burial will take place at Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids is assisting the family.

Betty was born July 18, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, to Viola (Blessing) and Fred Krumm, Sr. She married Paul LeRoy Kessler on September 14, 1957. Betty worked for Wilson’s Meatpacking and Square D.

Survivors include her daughters, Michele Kessler of Cedar Rapids, and Lorie Waite of Illinois; three grandchildren, Jessica, Kaleb, and Brock; and two great-grandchildren, Presley and Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Kessler; and siblings, Bonnie Wyatt-Meis, Fred Krumm, Jr., and Beverly Carnahan.
