Betty I. Bachmann

Betty I. Bachmann, 96, of Springfield, IL, died at 3:18 am, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at her home. She was born March 13, 1925 in Springfield, IL to John T. and Irene (Woods) Siliskie. She married Robert L. Bachmann March 30, 1945 and he preceded her in death September 3, 2014.

She is survived by a son, Charles Bachmann of Springfield; grandson, Aaron William (Savannah) Bachmann of Springfield; great granddaughter, Cassie Marie Bachmann of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Bachmann; grandson, “Little Charlie” Bachmann and brother, John Siliskie.

Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed handcrafts such as embroidery, crocheting and knitting.

Graveside Service: 10:00 am, Monday, July 5, 2021 at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
