Barbara Louise Johnson

Barbara Louise Johnson, 88 of Akron, Ohio gained her wings on January 12, 2024. Barbara enjoyed reading the bible, gardening, crossword puzzles, and her daily walks with her
husband.

Barbara was born in Evergreen, Alabama to Aljay and Margaret Abney on March 4, 1935. Barbara was married for 50 years to Wesley Johnson, Jr. Barbara worked at Barberton, Citizens Hospital for 30 years before retiring as a Lab technician. She was a faithful and loyal servant of Sheldon Temple.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wesley Johnson, Jr, Her mother Margaret Abney, Her father Aljay Ablney, Her Brother Charles Abney, Her Sister Beverly Hill.

Babarba leaves to cherish her memories, her two daughters Candida Woods – Texas, Andrea Woods-Thurman (Rocky) – Ohio, Her granddaughter Margo Woods – Texas, Her grandson Marques Woods – Florida, Her great granddaughter Jaileen Woods-Thomas – Texas, Her great grand sons, Jabrayden King-Woods and Darcy Hawkins – Texas, And a host of other relatives and friends.
