Austin Marion Lively

Austin Marion Lively, 77, of Flat Rock passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.  A native of Henderson County, he was one of eight children born to Oscar and Dellorie Lively.  In addition to his parents, Austin was preceded in death by two sons, Marion Lively and Carroll Lively.

Austin worked as a logger.  He loved being in the woods and feeding squirrels, birds and raccoons.  He was a Baptist, and he tried to take care of everybody in his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Faye Lively; children, Allen Lively of Hendersonville, Wilma Laughter of Edneyville, Pat Easton of Polk County, Debbie Lively of Dana, Rhonda Lively of Flat Rock and Ray Lively of Flat Rock; 18 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 2, 2021 at 2pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
