Arthur Hill, Jr., age 80 of Dover died Sunday, December 27, 2020, while in the care of Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital at Dover.
Born at Bellaire, Ohio on June 8, 1940, Art was a son of the late Arthur and Pearl Elizabeth Parker Hill.
He obtained a Bachelor in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University and worked for 39 years as a Pharmacist with the H&A Drug, Nichols Discount City, Rite Aid and Morgan Drugs Stores. He was a member of Lake Drive Fellowship at New Cumberland and was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed hunting, the Ohio State Buckeyes and keeping his yard in perfect order.
Art is survived by his children, Lisa (David) Myers of North Carolina, Crystal (Larry) Lowery of Dover, and Natalie (Dan) Razevich of Columbus; Eight grandchildren, Alec and Brooke Myers, Brenden (Melissa) Lowery, Mason (Tisha) Lowery, Madison (fiancé, Mitch Dotto) Lowery, Ethan Razevich, Alaina Razevich and Kennedy Razevich and four great-grandchildren, Lyla, Leighton, Noah, and Laney Lowery.
Completing the family are his companion of nearly 40 years, Mary Ann Wiltshire of Dover; their K-9 companions, Ethel and Lucy and Mike, the cat. Also surviving are Mary Ann’s family Natalie (David) Green and Shelly (Greg) Reed; Mary Ann’s grandchildren, whom he also thought of as extended family, Ryan Green, Olivia (Jordan) Tozzi, Cali (Scott) Simonson and Haley (Adam Budde) Reed; and great-grandchildren, Madalena, Hunter and Harleigh.
In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, Chloe Lowery.
In keeping with Art’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or services, cremation care has been handled by the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory at New Philadelphia.
