SPRINGFIELD – Anne Helen VonBehren died on Saturday, July 23, 2011, age 85. She was born December 18, 1925, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of George and Barbara Nadasdy. Anne married August Alan VonBehren on Nov. 30, 1946. Her parents and a son, August Alan Jr., preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Ursuline Academy in 1943 and attended Springfield College in Illinois.

Surviving are husband, August; daughter, Kathleen Murphy; son, Timothy of Stockton, California; and granddaughter, Lauren of Stockton, California. Also one brother, George Nadasdy; three sisters, Barbara Wysocki, Mary Fran Nadasdy, and Dorothy Nadasdy.

Remembrances may be made to Springfield Catholic Charities, 120 S. 11th Street, Springfield, IL 62703. Remains were cremated. A memorial Mass will be held at a future date at Christ the King Church in Springfield.
