Ann Klever, 77, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at Teahen Funeral Home. A musical celebration will follow at Rumors Bar & Grill from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Kris (Mike Garringer) Barz of Cedar Rapids; grandsons, Tyler Barz and Cody Barz both of Cedar Rapids; and sister, Kay Elliott of Kansas City, MO.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Gaffney; sister, Mary Entenmen; and her parents, Roy and Hazel.

Ann was born on August 19, 1947, daughter of Roy and Hazel Fagen Elliott. She married Ron Klever and they later divorced. Ann married Steve Gaffney in 2017 after dating for almost 30 years. She received many insurance certifications and worked for Fiserv, Freedom Group, Inc., Transamerica, United Fire & Casualty Company, and Iowa National Mutual Insurance.

Ann loved listening to live music. She also enjoyed trips to the casino and gardening in her spare time. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
