Andrew “AJ” Fouch, 34, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at The University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. A livestream of the memorial service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Andrew under “photos and videos” starting at the time of service. A private burial will take place Friday at Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, Iowa.

Andrew was born November 4, 1989, in Bellflower, California, the son of Mark and Dawn (McCarty) Fouch. On July 23, 2022, Andrew was united in marriage to Stephanie Brown in Marion, Iowa. He was a video gamer who loved to go fishing and camping with his family and kids. Andrew enjoyed traveling and going to concerts with his wife. He had the best deep barrel laugh and always lit up a room. More than anything, Andrew loved his family, and he will be dearly missed.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Stephanie; parents, Mark and Dawn; children, Rachel, Landon, Jordyn, Jeffrey, and Jonathan; paternal grandfather, Dale Fouch Jr.; maternal grandmother, Ginger McCarty; aunts and uncles, Dave and Angie Fouch, Aimee and Michael Brown, Jillian and Ozzie Pina, Matthew McCarty; cousins, Joel and Taylor Fouch, Roman and Vivienne Pina, Zachary, Aidan, Piper, Elliot and Oliver Brown and Stacy and Jeff Nichols; close family friends, Mark and Stacy Fisher; and Godfather, Bob Owen.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Kathleen Fouch; paternal great-grandmother, Goldie Thursby; maternal grandfather, Al Hamby; maternal great-grandparents, Tore and Shirley Johanson; and cousin, Todd Weiser.
