Alan D. Tapper, 94, of Cedar Falls, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo. Alan was born North of Williams, Iowa, on July 11, 1931, the son of Jans and Grace (Arnold) Tapper. He married Bessie “Bess” L. Wolf on September 7, 1952, at the Church of Christ in Hampton.

Alan is survived by his children, Paula (Greg) Nicoll and Dr. Ronald (Valli) Tapper; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 4-6 pm, Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Funeral: 10:30 am, Monday, November 10, at the Diamond Event Center in Cedar Falls with visitation an hour prior. Graveside service: 1:45 pm at Hampton Cemetery (521 4th St. NE) in Hampton.
