Adolfo Elizondo, 78, of Granbury, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021. Service: 2:00 PM, Friday, February 26, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury, Interment: Holly Hills Mausoleum, Visitation: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 25, 2021, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury with rosary at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
Adolfo was born on June 1, 1942 on McNary, Texas to Cruz and Anita Elizondo. He married Mary Louise Rodriguez and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Adolfo was humble and generous and he unconditionally welcomed everyone with open arms. He was one of the first families at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, where he was a long time member.
Adolfo was a cowboy and farm worker, who loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his dogs. He was a good cook, who loved to BBQ. Brisket was one of his specialties. He couldn’t make a bad meal. He was preceded in death by his parents, and several brothers and sisters.
Adolfo is survived by his wife: Mary Elizondo, children: Jerry Elizondo and partner John Elizondo, Julie Elizondo, and Susan Charlene Bell, grandchildren: Trisha Pauli, Jayla Hall, Draven Bell, and Ozzy Bell, great=-grandchildren: Kennedy Williams, and Triston McAda, siblings: Frank Elizondo, and Rosa DeLeon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
