Marsha L. (Dickerson) Floyd (1967-2021)

Marsha L. (Dickerson) Floyd was born April 13, 1967 to the late Diana (Dickerson) Andrews and Jesse Roseman, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Marsha attended Roberta A. Taft High School in Cincinnati where she displayed talents in basketball, volleyball and track. She earned an Associated Degree in Medical Assisting from Brown Mackie College in 2009. Marsha enjoyed her position as Environmental Supervisor at Summa Akron City hospital until the time of her illness.
Marsha moved to Akron 17 years ago with 2 of her 3 children, where she met her beloved husband Kayto M. Floyd. They became a blended family.
Marsha was a devoted PTA Booster Parent at Miller South, Firestone CLC and Archbishop Hoban. She also assisted with West Akron AAU Track & Field.
Marsha loved to decorate the house inside and out for every holiday and any other function such as birthdays or baby showers. She loved baking, cooking and planting flowers in the yard. When all work was done, she and husband, Kayto, loved shopping and going to the movies together.
Marsha was a great supporter of all children in the family, in all things they endeavored to participate in. She loved to laugh and have fun with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald.
She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Kayto M. Floyd; children, Timothy Sr., Tyra & Tyris Dickerson; stepchildren, Keysha, Rhea and Kay-El Floyd; grandchildren, Jayden Crist, Kimora Coleman, Najah, Timothy Jr., Titan and Orion Dickerson; Delancio and Bella Rose (Floyd) Rogers; sisters, Felicia and Lelia Stevenson-Dickerson and Tyrondia Dickerson; brothers, Raymond Allen and John Andrews.
