Jean Arthur Weldon

Jean A. Weldon, aged 87, passed away on November 16, 2024, in East Cleveland, Ohio. Born on June 5, 1937, Jean devoted her life to nurturing her family and serving her community. A retired medical professional, she was also the former President of Beachcrest LAC and a founding member of the Great Lakes Pinochle Club. Additionally, Jean was a part owner of the Arlington Beverage Store.
Jean is survived by her loving family, including her son, Adonis L. Weldon; sisters, Patricia Williams and Donna Fargo; grandchildren, Adonis Weldon Jr., Avon M. Weldon, Chantel L. Weldon, Tiarra N. Wade-Weldon, and Danielle K. Weldon; great-grandchildren, Coteria, Tashae, Avon Jr, Victoria, Chemar, Chantenise, Christian, Chaiden, Dylan, Tyler, and Amaya; and great-great-grandchildren, Chanel and Chance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur E. and Leona E. Lee; brothers, Ronald and Theodore Lee; sister, Mary Lee; and son, Ronald A. Weldon.
Jean received her first communion at St. Joseph, reflecting her spiritual journey and connection with her faith. Her hobbies included playing cards, bowling, horseback riding, and enjoying the occasional pull of the slots at the casino, showcasing her spirited and engaging personality.
Services to honor Jean‘s life will be private and are to be conducted by Calhoun Funeral Home.
Jean‘s legacy of love, service, and commitment to her family and community will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
