Woodford Brightwell Jr.
Woodford “Topper” Brightwell Jr., 67, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. He was born January 28, 1958 in Milan, Indiana, son of the late Woodford and Dorothy (Parker) Brightwell.
Topper enjoyed basketball and football. He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. He loved walking.
He is survived by his daughter, Tamika Thomas of North Vernon, IN; 4 sisters, Ruth Ann (Zannie) Hobby of Murfreesboro, TN, Pamela Sue (Acher) Moore of Gary, IN, Sue (Michael) Thorpe of Indianapolis, IN, Cathy (Jeff) Walters of Plainfield, IN; 2 grandchildren, Jolisa Thomas, Nyema Thomas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodford and Dorothy Brightwell.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 17, 2025 from 11 am to 12 pm at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg, Indiana. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 12 pm, with Lawrence Brightwell officiating.
