William Fry

The Rev. William Barry Fry, 75, of Glen Mills, Pa passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
Born in Coatesville, Pa., Rev. Fry was the son of the late Francis and Grace (Gabel) Fry. He was the beloved husband of Sue Ann Fry. The couple shared 40 years of marriage.
Rev. Fry has master’s degree credits in accounting and business administration. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history from Ursinus College. In addition, he received a Master of Divinity degree from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary,
The. Rev. Fry served Lancaster Presbyterian Church from 2002-2010. He served Juan Intertational University and was active in the English-speaking ministry at Juan Presbyterian Church in Incheon, South Kore from 2011-2015. Prior to his service as a minister, he was in the banking, airline and travel industries.
Rev. Fry has served as an elder in Duncanville Presbyterian Church and a s a Minister of Word and Sacrament at Lancaster Presbyterian Church in Lancaster, California. In addition, he has served as a chaplain. Rev. Fry enjoyed people and liked to play bridge and pinochle. He had a keen interest in all aspects of the animal kingdom and collected stamps and coins.
In addition to his wife, Rev. Fry is survived by Judith Ann Eckbold (Fry), Tressa Louise Rider (Fry), and Sharon Lee Kephart (Fry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews and close cousins.
In addition to his parents, Rev. Fry was predeceased by his siblings: Francis H. Fry Jr., Grace Arlene Berrier (Fry), Gail Marie Wiker (Fry), and Elmer Charles Fry Sr.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 10-10:30 at Westminster Presbyterian Church: 10 W Pleasant Grove Rd, West Chester, PA 19382. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM at the church. Interment will take place at Romansville United Methodist Church in Romansville, Ps.
Flowers will be accepted, but if one prefers, a donation can be made to Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
