William Craton

Queensbury – William Craton, 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital.

Born on November 27, 1942 in Georgia, he was the son of Charles and Jennie (Memichen) Craton.

William got his associates degree in business and continued to become a successful business owner of Embassy Tile. He was an accomplished master mason and excelled as a business owner for years.

William loved spending time with his family and he loved watching old Westerns. William also loved to help people learn new hobbies and was recently helping his grandchild learn how to make wooden knives-a hobby of theirs.

Beside his parents, he was predeceased by his son Chuck Craton as well as his wife Susan Craton.

Survivors include his daughter, Angela Morehouse; grandsons, Bud Craton, Jacob and Charles Morehouse; great grand-children, William, Olivia, Charles and Ruby Craton; his brother Kent Craton; and nephew Matt Craton.

Family and Friends are invited to and may call from 10AM to 12PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury, NY.
