William Cadrette
William J. Cadrette, Sr., 67, of Rome, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was born in Rome on December 31, 1957, a son of the late Clarence and Marie (Neroni) Cadrette.
Bill worked for the City of Rome DPW for many years before retiring. He was an avid collector of all things Schultz & Dooley as well as classic cars like his ’68 Charger and ’70 Challenger.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Pamela Thomas; a daughter, Nichole Cadrette (Mike); a son, William Cadrette, Jr. (Anna); a sister, Joanne Barnett (Dennis); three brothers, David Cadrette, Donnie Cadrette, and Buddy Cadrette; five grandchildren, Racheal, Emily, William III, Jaeley, and Rielyn; his dog, Dunkin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, James Cadrette (Kelly).
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
