Walter Wallgren

Walter George Wallgren was born December 04, 1950 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. Easy going, kind and always ready with one of his famous dad jokes. Only son of the late Walter V Wallgren and Bernice L Styx Wallgren, grandson of the late George and Ella Lang Styx. Proudly served in the Navy. Vietnam Veteran. After serving his country, he lived in Southern CA for many years before moving to the SF Bay Area where he met and married the love of his life, Sylvia Joyce Walton Wallgren, on August 24, 1991 and they settled down together in Belmont, CA. A dedicated loving husband. Survived by his wife of thirty-three years, daughter Jacie Rivas, grandson Jaime Rivas, Jr., sister, Donna Lou Hixson, niece Sandra L. Kashack, nephew Ronald W. Hixson Sr. and loving uncle to six great nieces and nephews and 13 great, great nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and love him.
