Virginia Ross

Virginia (Jennie) Lee Ross, 84, of Granbury passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother, grandmom and great grandmom. She was born December 9, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas to Marine Russell Ross and Lena Lee Ross.

She worked at TI, Motorola, Pecan Plantation as a security dispatcher and many years as a caregiver. She loved her family and baseball, from Little League to the Texas Rangers.

Her mottos in life were “Laughing makes you live longer” and “Love each other unconditionally.” Laughing and humor were what got her through all the hard times. Her smile and laughter would fill up the room.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Marine Russell Ross and Lena Lee Ross; sister, Juanice Fay Culp; brothers, Raymond Ross and Marine Russell Ross, Jr.; grandsons, James Luker, Jr., and Brandon Joe Haak.

Survived by son, Randy Blalock of Granbury; daughters, Tammy Weisner and husband Les of Granbury, Marty Luker and husband Garry of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jennifer, Mallory, Brandon and wife Amber, Jeremy, Dana; great-grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, Jacob, Logan, Oliver, Lyndzi, Charlee, Brayden, Ariel, Lacee, and Haylee; numerous loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

Celebration of Life will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM.
