Victor Herold

Victor J. Herold, III, affectionately known as Vic to his friends and family, was a beacon of love and optimism throughout his 69 years. Born on December 4th, 1955, in Tenafly, New Jersey, Vic brought joy into the lives of all who knew him. Sadly, on July 7th, 2025, in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Vic peacefully passed away, surrounded by the warmth of his family’s love.

Vic’s enduring love story with his spouse Lois spanned 45 glorious years. Together, they navigated life’s adventures and built a family rooted in affection and mutual respect. He was a devoted father to his children, Victor J. Herold IV and Dane Herold (Marcela), and adored his grandchildren, Victor V, Ivanna, and Carlos. Vic’s sister, Patricia Ringlehan, also survives him, carrying forward the memories they made. He was predeceased by his son Jordan and his parents, Victor and Patricia Herold.

Professionally, Vic thrived in the world of sales, dedicating over 35 years to the craft he so enjoyed. His wisdom and leadership as a sales manager earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. He believed that the essence of sales was forming genuine connections, a skill he undoubtedly mastered.

Boating and fishing were among Vic’s cherished hobbies, allowing him moments of tranquility and a bond with nature. However, his greatest joy was found in the time spent with his family. The memories made during family gatherings, holidays, and everyday moments are treasures that will be held dearly in the hearts of his loved ones.

Vic was a loving man who always saw life through an optimistic lens. His sage advice and wise words provided guidance to many. As American author and humorist Mark Twain once said, “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” Vic embraced this philosophy in all his endeavors, inspiring those around him to take the first step toward their dreams.

Vic’s remarkable life was a testament to his character – a man both loving and wise, with an unfailingly optimistic spirit that will continue to shine brightly in the memories he leaves behind. His legacy will live on through the immeasurable impacts he made on the hearts and lives of his cherished family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him.
