Vena Marcum

Vena M. Marcum, 76, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Continuing Health of Mineral Ridge.

Born on September 16, 1949, in Welch, West Virginia, Vena was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Spencer) Marcum.

Prior to retirement, Vena worked as an aide for Youngstown Developmental Center for eight years. She loved to garden and cook, but spending time with family was what brought her the most joy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Anita.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Robert Farmintino and Melissa (Andy) Vanjura; her grandchildren, Phillip, Gina, Mary Rebecca, and Andrew; her great-grandchild, Ellie; and her siblings, Mikki, James (Ethel), Mary Ellen (Walter), Robert (Elena), and Elaine (Tim). The family also looks forward to welcoming a great-granddaughter, little Harper, and they take comfort in knowing she will be lovingly watched over by her guardian angel.
