Valerie A. (Lazzaro) Giuliani
It is with great sorrow that the family of Valerie Giuliani of Port Chester, NY, announce she passed peacefully on October 2, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Valerie was born on June 19, 1959 to Charles and Viola Lazzaro (predeceased). She currently resided in Port Chester with her beloved boyfriend, Gary Cardany (predeceased) and her fur babies, Charles, Beamer, Mr. Green, and Tick.
Valerie was a devoted sister to Frances (Gene) Radomski, Kathy (Jerry) Federici, Mary Lazzaro, and Anthony “Yont” (Lisa) Lazzaro. All of her siblings are heartbroken with the loss of their loving and energetic sister.
Valerie’s favorite role in life was being an Aunt “Nanny” to Amy (Jay) Laurino, Amber (Jeff) Morgan, Christopher (Veronica) Lazzaro, Shauna (Patrick) Kauth, Nikko (Ally) Lazzaro, Tiffani (Christopher) Oliva, and all of the Giuliani nieces and nephews.
Valerie then became a “Super Nanny” to Gianna, Luca, Annabella, Violette, Emelia, Oliver, Cali, Ziggy, Viviana, and Jacob.
Valerie graduated Port Chester High School in 1977 as class valedictorian. Valerie then went on to continue her education, earning an Associate Degree at Berkley College in 1979 and a Bachelor Degree in Business at Concordia College.
Valerie’s career started at General Foods, she then went to Kraft Foods, and was working at Mondelez International at the time of her passing. Valerie’s work in corporate America led her to be involved in volunteering at children’s homeless shelters, animal shelters and many cancer society events. Valerie always put 100% into her career, but when the work day ended she made sure she enjoyed life.
Golf, bowling and softball were some of her favorite past times. She made many life long friends from these hobbies. One of her best friends from corporate life was Teri Garcia. She became a fourth sister to her. Teri could always be counted on in any situation throughout her life.
Valerie’s “mate” Gary became her rock, and they enjoyed traveling and fun times with both of their families. Anthony Giuliani was Valerie’s ex-husband, he and his family treated her with much love and respect through her life.
Valerie will always be remembered for her kindness, laughter, and love for God, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may donate in Valerie’s name to Memorial Sloan Kettering or their favorite animal shelter.
Arrangements for Valerie were handled by;
Joseph Tutera Funeral Home 121 South Regent Street Port Chester, NY 10573.
