Truman Ellis

Mr. Truman David Ellis, Jr., age 89, of Ellijay, passed away on Friday, September 5th, 2025.

Mr. Ellis was born on February 12th, 1936 in Dalton, GA to the late Truman David, Sr. and Bertha Lee Starks Ellis. Mr. Ellis served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by sisters Gladys Holland, Helen Blackwell, Irene Lofty, and brothers Johnny Carroll and L.T. Carroll.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, at 11:00am from the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00pm in the Georgia National Cemetery.
