Tony Rak

Tony Rak Sr., September 29, 2025 Beloved husband of the late Robin (nee Miller) Rak and cherished father of Tony Jr., (Chrisy) Rak, Krystal (Carlos) Lira, Matthew (Waseka) Rak, the late Sarah Rak, and Erica Rak. Adored Papa of Kalei, Heather, Dakota, Carlos, Alexander, Christian, Madison, Kacper, Alexzander, Lucas, Lauren and Lindsay. Tony was a devoted brother of the late Mary (late Robert) Postels, the late Joseph (the late Lovie) Rak, the late William (Barbara) Rak and the late Irene (late Bill) Seggerson. Tony was preceded in death by his parents.

Tony enjoyed fishing, playing poker and bowling. He was a proud United States Marine Veteran. “OORAH!” He was a true patriot and took great joy in celebrating the 4th of July and Memorial Day.

Above all, Tony loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. They brought him much joy and laughter. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Family for Funeral and Medical Expenses.

Services will be held at Central Chapel 6158 S. Central, Chicago, where family and friends will gather on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 3 to 8 p.m. Funeral Monday, October 6, 2025, 10 a.m. at CENTRAL CHAPEL. Tony will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois
