TONIGHT: CASA volunteers needed, two dates available
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Carson City or CASA is recruiting for new volunteers. Informational meetings will be held today, May 29 and June 3 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The organization is looking for young professionals, retiree’s and stay-at-home guardians who want to make a difference in the lives of children. CASA volunteers provide critical emotional support, and help find safe, permanent homes for children in the foster care system.
Learn more about how CASA actively engages in the community by connecting families with resources, providing regular activities and adventures like football and horseback riding for children.
Both meetings will take place at 1539 E. 5th Street, Carson City, NV 89701.
