Thomas Williams Jr.
Thomas Wilbert Williams, Jr., 83, was born in Palatka, Florida, on October 7, 1941, and entered into Eternal Rest on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida.
Thomas dedicated many years of his career to the railroad industry in New Orleans. After retiring to Florida, he continued working as a Duty Manager for Barry Manor Apartments.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Arlena Williams, and his siblings, Christine Williams, Mattie Williams, Carolyn Baker, Rudetha Williams, and Albert Williams.
Cherishing his memory are his devoted companion of 16 years, Karen Cuff; his daughter, Deloris (David) Akers of Evansville, Indiana; his son, Thomas (Larhonda) Williams of Palatka, Florida; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his sisters, Enice Williams of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Elizabeth (Harold) Nealy of Palatka, Florida; his brother, Johnny L. Williams of Lake Butler, Florida; his god-sister, Constance (Lutrell) Smith of Palatka, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of Thomas’ life will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Watts Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
