Thomas “Tom” Zais
Thomas “Tom” A. Zais 61 of International Falls, MN and formerly of Boyd, WI. passed away at home on April 12th, 2025.
Tom was born on April 7th, 1964 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley, WI. to Nick and Betty (Knapp) Zais. He grew up in Boyd, WI. and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Boyd and graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School. Following High School he worked with his parents at the Boyd Locker and other various jobs in the area.
Tom married Debbie Nayes in 1995 and they later divorced.
Tom continued his employment for Super Value Warehouse in MN. and later moved to International Falls, MN. in 2010 where he worked various jobs.
He enjoyed feeding the deer, fishing and woodworking.
Tom is survived by his daughter Brittany (Jeff) Zais, 2 sons Sean and Tyler Zais; his mother Betty Zais; grandchildren; siblings Dennis (Deb) Zais, Jeff (Deb) Zais and Curt (Shari) Zais; friend Kim Amiot; aunt Ann Marie (Gene) Bradley; uncles Jerry (Judy) Zais and Francis (Debbie) Zais ald also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father Nick Zais, Jr.; grandparents Nick and Anna Zais, Sr. and Earl and Lena Knapp and cousins and friends.
A Service of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at the Leiser Funeral Home 511 N. Main St. Cadott, WI. with Deacon Ned Willkom officiating.
A Memorial Visitation will be held One hour prior to the Service Friday at the Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life will follow the Services at Double D’s in Boyd, WI.
A Private family Inurnment will be a St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Boyd, WI. at a later date.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS-Memorials are preferred by the family.
