Thomas Kenehan
Thomas “Tom” Robert Kenehan, age 84, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Tom was born on June 12, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Robert and Dorothy (née Forster) Kenehan.
He was a man who cherished the outdoors, in his free time whether it be hunting fishing or camping Tom also enjoyed the occasional flea market auction and estate sale. Some of his fondest memories were made fishing in Canada. Tom also enjoyed a good game of poker and spending time at his house on Druid Lake, where laughter and love were always abundant. Above all, Tom will be remembered as the ultimate family man, as the best husband, dad, and grandpa anyone could ask for.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Darlene (née Zarling) Kenehan; his children, Jill (Steve) Kenehan-Krey, Greg (Nicole) Kenehan, Scott (Justine) Hoffmann, and Kimberly (Rick) Hanan; his grandchildren, Halley (Gabe) Kenehan-Toth, Collin Kenehan, Emma Hanan, and Olivia Hanan; and his great-grandchildren, Carter Kenehan, Harper and Brooks Toth. He is further survived by his sisters, Jane (Jess) Bogart and Colleen (Dan) Knapak, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Dorothy Kenehan.
Funeral services for Tom will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford, WI 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m.
