Theresa Rosser

Theresa Martel Rosser passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 with family by her side. Terry is predeceased by her loving husband, Myron in 2016, and their second daughter, Becky in 2007. Terry is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Sullivan and her son in law Brian Sullivan, her son John Rosser and her daughter in law Robin Rosser. She also leaves behind an adoring extended family of many nieces and nephews along with many friends and neighbors.
Terry was born, July 7, 1929 and raised with her brother, Tom, by their parents, James and Lillian Hall in San Francisco.
Terry attended and graduated from Washington High School. She then got hired at Southern Pacific Railroad Company for the typing pool in the President’s Department. Terry and Myron met on their first day there during orientation. They dated, going to dances, movies, etc. They became know for their excellent dancing skills. They married and moved to San Rafael. However, they chose Corte Madera where to raise their children, Jenny, Becky and John, to be their forever home. Terry loved hosting big holiday dinners and parties for the extended family for sit-down dinners with all the fixings. She also enjoyed having the neighbors over for various celebrations.
Terry found her calling in volunteering well into her 80’s. She especially enjoyed her 20+ years with Saint Patrick’s Helping Hands in Larkspur. She was also involved in with many other organizations, such as, Italian Catholic Federation in Larkspur, Nazareth House in San Rafael, and the Food Bank in Corte Madera, etc. She also contributed many handmade blankets, hats, and scarves to many local charities. Although, she likes bed handing out her handmade rosary beads to each and every person she ever met. This gave her the name of The Rosary Bead Lady. Her kindness, generosity, and welcoming smile
Is what she is best remembered for.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery and Reception Center at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato, CA 94945. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Dementia Society of America, P. O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 or you may choose to plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Terry, please visit our Tree Store.
