Tewoldino Belai, 52, of Naperville, Il passed away on August 14th due to complications from kidney disease and cardiac arrest.
Tewoldino is survived by his father, Woldegiorg Equbagabir, his siblings Rozian, Melake, Kibrom, Amin, and Temesgen, along with ten nephews, five nieces, and one great-nephew and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his mother, Teberh Feshazion and a brother, Mulugeta Belai.
Tewoldino came to the United States from Eritrea in 1985, bringing with him a quiet strength, a bright mind, and a deep determination to build a meaningful life. He attended Wheaton North High School, where he excelled both academically and athletically.
Following high school Tewoldino continued his education at the College of DuPage, where he pursued his passion and laid the foundation for a successful career in his chosen field.
Tewoldino will be remembered for his unwavering dedication, his kind heart, and the integrity with which he lived his life. He touched many lives with his warmth, his humility, and his perseverance.
He is deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday August 20th at 10:00 AM at Debre Mihret St.Michael Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, 205 Parkway Dr., Wheaton, IL. Interment to follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery 1109 Warrenville Rd., Wheaton, IL.
