Terri Mayberry

A Life Remembered

Terri Elaine Mayberry was born on May 30, 1951, in Winslow, Arizona, to Bennett and Linnes Mayberry. She was gently called home to the Lord on October 1, 2025.

Terri grew up in Winslow, attending Winslow High School, where she shared her voice as a member of the choir and graduated in 1970. She met the love of her life, Donnie Joe Warren, and together they had three beloved children, whom she cherished with all her heart.

Terri’s life was one of dedication, resilience, and service. She worked as a room attendant at various hotels, a sales associate at Whipples and BVD Plant, and devoted 19 years to Winslow Walmart, managing the ladies’ department with grace and kindness. She also touched the lives of students as a cafeteria staff member for the Winslow Unified School District.

A faithful member of the AME Methodist Church, Terri’s life was guided by her love for Christ. She was vivacious, fearless, and fashionable, a woman who embraced life fully. She found joy in shopping, interior and fashion design, playing bingo and pity pat, watching cowboy westerns, and most of all, spending treasured moments with her family.

Terri had a heart that nurtured all who knew her. Her courage, selflessness, and unwavering love left a mark on everyone she met. She celebrated life with laughter, compassion, and boundless warmth.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Donnell (Monique), Tyson (Hilda), and Shayla; her brother Robert; sisters Linda and Elizabeth (Walter); five grandchildren and one granddog; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family who carry her spirit forward.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Bennett and Linnes Mayberry; brothers Bennie Ray and Charles Allen; her beloved partner Donnie Joe Warren; sister-in-law Helen Marie; son-in-law Legend; and nieces Ultramese and Lisa.

Her life was a testament to resilience, courage, and unconditional love. Terri’s memory will live on in every hug, every laugh, and every heart she touched. She will forever remain a bright light in the lives of all who knew her.
