Terri Lujan, daughter, sister, mom, and nana. Was a lifelong resident of Modesto California who passed away peacefully on October 02, 2025. She was born on December 17th, 1956 to her loving parents Enrique and Helen Peralta.
Terriās heart was in her home and her kitchen. She loved cooking and took great pride in teaching her family the traditional recipes that had been passed down through generations, and the amount of food she cooked was as big as her heart, always sharing food with friends who stopped by and because her kids always wanted leftovers.
Terri was a vibrant spirit and had a timeless sense of style. She was a woman who always carried herself with grace and elegance who never failed to wear her earrings and a smile. She enjoyed listening to her oldies and Mexican music.
Above all, Terri cherished her role as a Nana. She was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren and was always supportive, accepting, and encouraging. Her steady loving presence was there to celebrate every milestone and offered comfort through every challenge not only to her family but to countless others who have been welcomed into her home.
She is survived by her children, Regina Lujan, Adriana Lujan, Joseph Lujan, Cynthia Carrillo, and Yvette Carrillo and her grandchildren Juaqin Lujan, Anthony Lujan, Emma Lujan, Alexia Colmenero, Joseph Lujan, Mia Denino, Natia Chavez and Talia Chavez. She also leaves behind her favorite and only sister Suzie Arias.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents Enrique and Helen Peralta, her brother Henry Peralta, and her beautiful granddaughter Annecia Lujan.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, CA. A chapel service will follow on Thursday, October 16th at 12:00 PM, with interment to take place at Ceres Memorial Park.
