Taylor Bennett Faucette passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, October 1, 2025, at her home, and entered her heavenly home on her 94th birthday. She was born in Raleigh, NC on October 1, 1931, the daughter of the late, Laurice White Bennett and Janie Younger Bennett. She was a graduate of Fuquay Springs High School and attended St. Mary’s School in Raleigh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Robert Jackson ‘Jack’ Faucette, her husband of 62 years whom she married on September 30,1950, and her brother John Thomas Bennett.

Taylor inspired others with her deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ, her love for in-depth Bible study and teaching the Word. She was a lifelong member of Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church where she was an adult Sunday School teacher and Bible study leader for many, many years. She was also a group leader in Bible Study Fellowship. She enjoyed piddling in her yard, decorating her home and making it beautiful for friends and family events.

Taylor is survived by her brother, Laurice White ‘Larry’ Bennett, Jr. (Kathy). Also surviving are her two sons, Robert Jackson ‘Rob’ Faucette, Jr. (Mary Lou) of Fuquay-Varina, and Kim Bennett Faucette (Sandra) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jason Faucette (Laura), of Fuquay-Varina, Amy Faucette Schenk (Ryan) of Mt. Ulla, NC, Jonathan Faucette of Raleigh, Daniel Faucette (Sarah) of Raleigh, and Sarah Faucette Mickens (Andrew) of Raleigh; and 9 great-grandchildren, Ava Faucette, Jase Faucette, Bree Schenk, Laina Schenk, Jack Faucette, Harper Faucette, Max Faucette, Emery Mickens, and Avery Mickens. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express warmest thanks and appreciation to our mom’s caregivers who have faithfully given loving care to her through these last years of her life.

In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Taylor’s memory to the ‘Forever Faithful’ campaign at Fuquay-Varina Baptist Church, 301 N. Woodrow Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

A graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1621 Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC on Monday, October 6 at 10:30 a.m.
