Taras “John” Stratechuk

Taras “John” Stratechuk, Army Veteran and retired Professor of Aeronautical Science at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, passed away on July 13, 2025.

In his retirement years he was an avid gardener.  As a cellist and lover of music he entertained friends and fellow residents at John Knox Village.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rudina; his sister, Kordelia (Ron) Velez; and two brothers, Andrew and Michael.
